Happy Earth Day

Earth day is always inspiring to me as so many interesting projects promoting environmental sustainability are typically blasted across the media every April 22nd.

A few of my favorites from today's stream of Earth Day Features: from top, this French farmhouse was featured as sustainable architecture with 27 solar panels on the roof designed by a Parisian firm Karawitz Architecture, and a brilliant new use for old worn denim in these beautiful rugs made by Nudie Jeans.

Weekend Concert Fundraising for Autism

I was fortunate to spend Saturday night away from the office at the Light Up The Blues Concert to raise money for autism. Not only did I have an incredible time listening to an awesome blues line up, the event raised more than than $320,000 for Autism Speaks! Yay!
